Event Info

We are excited to welcome you all to the Amuri Ranges Run as a PTA Fundraiser for the Amuri Area School. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a family day out, there will be an area for the spectators and an obstacle course the kids can enter. Food stands will be available, and much of the course can be seen from the venue headquarters. 

We ask that your 4 legged friends remain at home as this is private property and a working farm. 

Gavin Martin Photography will be there on the day to capture the event. 

Event location: Landsborough Station, 639 Leslie Hills Road, Waiau. Please follow the signs to the race headquarters. The entrance track will take you 3km off the main road. There is plenty of parking available and the track is 2wd friendly. 

Race number and pack pick up: From 8am on race day from headquarters

Race start times: 
22km: 9am
10km: 9.30am
5km: 9.45am
Obstacle course: 10am

Prizegiving: Will be held between 1-2pm

Event Rules:
1. Personal Responsibility: All participants must be in good health and take personal responsibility for their physical condition and ability to complete the event.
2. Mandatory Gear: Participants must carry any required safety gear as outlined by the event organizers (22k run only)
3. Course Adherence: Runners must stay on the marked course at all times and respect any areas designated as off-limits.
4. Environmental Respect: Littering is strictly prohibited. Please pack your rubbish out with you.
5. Right of Way: Slower runners must allow faster runners to pass safely.
6. Medical Assistance: If a participant is injured or in distress, they must seek assistance or inform an official/race steward. Any participant who requires medical aid agrees to withdraw if deemed unfit to continue.
7. No Outside Assistance: Only designated aid stations may be used for food, water, or support. Pacers or outside assistance will not be permitted on course.
8. Spectator Responsibility: Spectators and supporters must also follow event rules and agree to enter the property at their own risk. Spectators will not be permitted to enter the course outside of the designated areas. 
9. Disqualification: Failure to follow event rules or endangering oneself or others may result in immediate disqualification.

 Please note: The event is taking place on private property. By entering the private property for the purpose of this event, attendees agree that the landowners, event organizers, volunteers, and affiliated parties bear no liability for any injury, loss, damage, or death that may occur before, during, or after the event.
